The Rebels looked for a district sweep in San Angelo against the Central Bobcats. Turnovers and other adverse conditions would factor into the 37-27 Lee loss. Both teams end the district run with 7-1 records.

FORT WORTH - Playing through near-freezing temperatures, rain and a strong north wind, the Rebels watched their season and playoff run come to an end on Friday night. State-ranked Southlake Carroll jumped out to a 45-point first half lead and cruised to a 51-7 win over Lee at Chisholm Trail Stadium in the Class 5A Division I Area Round playoff.
